The Quantum Engineering Commission (QEC) is the student association of the Quantum Engineering Master Programme at ETH Zürich.
Founded in 2020 by the first cohort of Quantum Engineering students, QEC is run by a Board of current students and serves as a platform for academic, professional and social exchange.
Our goals are:
- Engaging people with quantum science and technology through initiatives such as the Quantum Paper Club and events with research and industry.
- Supporting students throughout their studies by providing academic resources, mentoring and opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience across different cohorts.
- Bringing people together through social, academic and sporting events and strengthening connections within the Quantum Engineering programme and the wider quantum ecosystem.
QEC is also a platform for student-led initiatives. We support students in developing and organizing their own events and projects and help provide continuity for these activities over time.
Through its activities and network, QEC connects students with researchers, industry and the broader quantum ecosystem in Switzerland.
